Niagara Falls, N.Y.: Points of Interest, 1937

aidelen's research-based artwork is a data visualization of redlining in Niagara Falls, New York. In 1937 the Home Owners Loan Corporation (HOLC), a government sponsored corporation, mapped out the places near this tourist destination that were deemed desirable for investments – known as redlining.
